Described as a “pianist with superhuman coordination,” Los Angeles-based Milen Kirov is an award-winning Bulgarian-American pianist and composer with an inimitable artistic voice and celebrated creative output. Combining his Bulgarian music heritage and concert pianist background with American jazz and blues, Milen's music establishes a deep connection between these music traditions. Bulgarian modes and odd meters bump flirtatiously into blues licks and jazz harmonies, creating a union of cultures that is deeply personal and wholly distinct. Kirov will be presenting his latest solo album “SPATIUM” with concerts in the US and Europe in the summer of 2022.
